RI-10SA1R-2K60-H1181 Description

Turck RI-10SA1R-2K60-H1181 is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for 2.5" square flange mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a solid shaft square flange with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector, falling under the Type RI-10 series. It has dimensions including a 2" casing diameter, 3/8" shaft diameter, and 7/8" shaft length. The encoder is protected to IP67 standards and supports a supply voltage range of 5Vdc to 30Vdc, accommodating 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc systems. It can handle a pulse frequency up to 300kHz. The encoder's housing, shaft, disc table, and packing ring are all made from stainless steel and die-cast metal. It features one digital output (push-pull; 7272 compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc) and includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. The maximum mechanical rotational speed is 6000rpm, with a moment of inertia at 1.8 x 10^-6kg.m^2. Its resolution is set at 60ppr (pulses per revolution), and it has a current consumption of 50mA with no load. The maximum radial and axial loads are 80 N and 40 N, respectively.
