RI-01Q5F3-2D1000-CA Turck Encoders

Turck RI-01Q5F3-2D1000-CA is a miniature incremental rotary encoder designed for 28mm flange mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +85°C and features a solid shaft with flat magnetic sensing. This encoder is pre-wired with an axial 2m / 6.5ft cord with bare end flying leads, belonging to the Type RI-01 series. It has a 24mm casing diameter, a 5mm shaft diameter (D5mm), and a 10mm shaft length (L10mm), with a degree of protection rated at IP50. The supply voltage requirement is 5Vdc-24Vdc (6Vdc / 12Vdc / 24Vdc), and it can handle a frequency of up to 160kHz, equivalent to a maximum of 9600rpm. Constructed with an aluminium housing and a stainless steel shaft, it includes 1 x digital output (push-pull with inverting signal; 5Vdc-24Vdc) and features protection functions against short-circuit, magnetic field interference, and reverse polarity. The encoder supports a rotational speed up to 12000rpm (mechanical limit), with a moment of inertia of 0.1 x 10-6kg.m2, and offers a resolution of 1000ppr (pulses/revolution). Its current consumption is 50mA (no load), and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 10 N and a maximum axial load of 20 N.
