NI40U-CP40-AP6X2/S10 Turck Inductive Sensors

Turck NI40U-CP40-AP6X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connection. It belongs to the NI...-CP40 series and features a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm, known as Combiprox, with a terminal chamber. The sensor is protected to a degree of IP68, ensuring its operation in demanding environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and can switch at frequencies up to 250Hz. The housing is made of glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0), and the sensing face is constructed from glass fiber reinforced Polyamide (PA6-GF30-X), offering durability and resilience. With a sensing distance of 40mm and operating in a Normally Open (NO) mode, this sensor provides a digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The response time is 8ms / 0.008 s, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A and a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
