NI25-Q20-AP6X2 Description

Turck NI25-Q20-AP6X2 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired PUR cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-Q20 series and features a 20mm thick rectangular body with a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and can switch at frequencies up to 250Hz. The housing and sensing face are made from glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0), and the cable jacket is made of Polyurethane (PUR). It offers a sensing distance of 25mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its response time is 8ms, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA and a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
