NI15U-M18-AP6X-H1141 Description

Turck NI15U-M18-AP6X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy installation. Part of the NI...-M18 series, it features an IP68 degree of protection, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and moisture are present. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz. Its M18 partially threaded barrel shape is constructed from chrome-plated brass with an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) sensing face. The sensing distance is 15mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M18, and it includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The response time is 8ms, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA and a no-load current consumption of 25mA.
