NI14-M18-AD4X Turck Inductive Sensors

Turck NI14-M18-AD4X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise, non-contact detection of metallic objects. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for easy installation. It falls under the NI...-M18 series and features an M18 partially threaded barrel shape. The sensor is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket, ensuring durability and resistance to environmental conditions. With an IP67 degree of protection, it is safeguarded against dust and immersion in water, making it suitable for harsh environments. The NI14-M18-AD4X operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc, and offers a sensing distance of 14mm. It features a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz and is designed to operate in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor supports one digital output (10-65Vdc; DC 2-wire; 100mA max.) and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 100mA / 0.1 A.
