FCS-M18-AP8X Turck Flow Sensors

Turck FCS-M18-AP8X is a sensor designed for flow monitoring, part of the FCS series, featuring a nickel-plated brass housing suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from 0°C to +60°C. It consumes 70mA/0.07A of current and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor has a response time of 20-40 seconds during startup and 1-5 seconds during normal operation. It includes 1 x digital output (20-30Vdc; PNP) and is equipped with a 2m cable in an M18 partially threaded barrel shape. The control circuit is rated for 200mA/0.2A, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity. This sensor can monitor flow rates from 50cm/s to 15m/s (air) and is designed as an instrumentation insertion probe flow monitor sensor/switch. It features a pre-wired connection with a 2m/6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads and an M18 threaded male process port. The sensor can withstand pressures up to 10bar (145psi) and is suitable for use with a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.). It can operate in medium temperatures ranging from -10°C to +70°C.
