BIM-UNT-RP6X Description

Turck BIM-UNT-RP6X is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch belonging to the BIM-UNT series, designed for embeddable Permaprox cylinder sensing. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a PP (Polypropylene) housing and sensing face, along with a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads, and is shaped to fit T-groove bodies. This sensor offers an IP68 degree of protection and can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz. It is designed for T-slot mounting and can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The BIM-UNT-RP6X has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
