BIM-UNC-AP6X Description

Turck BIM-UNC-AP6X is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch belonging to the BIM-UNC series. This embeddable sensor operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features a PP (Polypropylene) housing, a PP-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene) sensing face, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. The sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has a rectangular body shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The maximum switching frequency is 300Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 100mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
