BIM-NST-RP6X/S235 Description

Turck BIM-NST-RP6X/S235 is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor or switch, part of the BIM-NST series, designed for mounting with a special calibration for increased sensitivity. It features a clamp-on, cylindrical, embeddable Permaprox sensor design. This sensor operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The housing and sensing face are made from PA12-GF30, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide, and it comes with a PVC cable jacket. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable with bare end flying leads. It has a rectangular body shape and offers an IP67 degree of protection against ingress. The sensor operates at a frequency of up to 1kHz (1000Hz max. switching frequency) and can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. It features 1 digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensor includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
