BIM-M12E-AG4X Turck Magnetic Field Sensors

Turck BIM-M12E-AG4X is a magnetic field cylindrical position sensor/switch belonging to the BIM-M12E series. This sensor features an extended barrel embeddable design with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. It is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing, a PBT-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. Its shape is an M12 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor operates with a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-65Vdc; DC 2-wire; low voltage drop; 200mA max.) and features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 100mA / 0.1 A, with a thread size of M12 and operates in a NO (Normally Open) mode.
