BIM-KST-AN6X Description

Turck BIM-KST-AN6X is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch within the BIM-KST series, designed for strap-on mounting on cylindrical surfaces. It features a rectangular body with a mounting strap for embeddable Permaprox cylinder sensor applications. This sensor operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PVC cable terminating in bare end flying leads for connection. The housing and sensing face are made of PA12-GF30, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide, ensuring durability. It offers a digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) and operates with a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz. The BIM-KST-AN6X operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and provides IP67 degree of protection against ingress. Its control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Additionally, it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
