BIM-IKT-Y1X Description

Turck BIM-IKT-Y1X is an intrinsically-safe magnetic cylinder position sensor/switch belonging to the BIM-IKT series. This ATEX compliant embeddable Permaprox cylinder sensor operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. It features a die-cast Zinc alloy housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face and a PVC cable jacket. The sensor is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads, showcasing a rectangular body shape. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BIM-IKT-Y1X is equipped with 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and supports a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz.
