Turck BI5U-M18-AP6X2-H1141 is a sensor designed for proximity detection within the BI...-M18 series. This inductive proximity sensor/switch features an embeddable design with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing and a PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) sensing face. The sensor is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. Its shape is an M18 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP68. The maximum switching frequency is 1.5kHz or 1500Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 25mA. The sensing distance is specified at 5mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M18, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
