BI50-Q80-Y1X Description

Turck BI50-Q80-Y1X is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-Q80 series. This ATEX-compliant, embeddable sensor operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc and features a housing and sensing face made of glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0), along with a PVC cable jacket. It is designed with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The sensor has an 80mm thick rectangular body and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. It can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and has a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz. The BI50-Q80-Y1X is equipped with one digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and can detect objects up to a sensing distance of 50mm.
