BI5-G18-AN6X Turck Inductive Sensors

Turck BI5-G18-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-G18 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a chrome-plated brass housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face and an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap. The sensor is equipped with a PVC cable jacket and is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has an M18 fully threaded barrel shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The maximum switching frequency is 500Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. This model includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 5mm. It features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A. The operating mode is NO (Normally Open), and it has an M18 thread size.
