BI3U-M12-AP6X Description
Turck BI3U-M12-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M12 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a chrome-plated brass housing, an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It has an M12 partially threaded barrel shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68. The maximum switching frequency is 3kHz / 3000Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 25mA, a sensing distance of 3mm, and is protected against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
