BI10-M30-AD4X Description

Turck BI10-M30-AD4X is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-M30 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M30 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (10-65Vdc; DC 2-wire; 100mA max.), with a sensing distance of 10mm. It is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 100mA / 0.1 A, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size for mounting is M30.
