BC5-M18-AP4X-0.2-RS4T Turck Capacitive Sensors

Turck BC5-M18-AP4X-0.2-RS4T is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-M18 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing and a sensing face made of glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0). It comes pre-wired with a 20cm / 8" pigtail cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. The sensor's shape is an M18 partially threaded barrel, offering an IP67 degree of protection. It has a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The sensor includes one digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and features a sensing distance of 5mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
