BC3-M12-AP6X-H1141 Description

Turck BC3-M12-AP6X-H1141 is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-M12 series. This sensor is designed to be embeddable and operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features a chrome-plated brass housing and an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) sensing face. The connection is facilitated by a pre-equipped 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. Its shape is an M12 partially threaded barrel, and it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 3mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size for installation is M12.
