BC20-Q20-AN4X2 Turck Capacitive Sensors

Turck BC20-Q20-AN4X2 is a capacitive proximity sensor/switch that belongs to the BC...-Q20 series. This part features a Qpak housing top-sensing embeddable design and operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. It is constructed from PBT-GF30-V0, a glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate, for both the housing and sensing face, and includes a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. The sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has a 20mm thick rectangular body shape and offers an IP67 degree of protection. The maximum switching frequency is 100Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor has one digital output (10-65Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 20mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
