BC2-EM08-UP8X-V1131 Description

Turck BC2-EM08-UP8X-V1131 is a capacitive proximity sensor within the BC...-EM08 series. This sensor features an embeddable design with a supply voltage of 20-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). It is constructed with a stainless steel housing and a PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) sensing face. The connection is facilitated by a pre-equipped 3-pin M8 Picofast male metal connector. Its shape is an M8 partially threaded cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor operates with a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It has 1 x digital output (20-30Vdc; PNP) and a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 2mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M8, and the operating mode can be programmed to either NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed).
