BC10-M30K-VP4X Description

Turck BC10-M30K-VP4X is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-M30 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face and a PVC cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M30 partially threaded short cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The digital output is 1 x digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 10mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, and it features an M30 thread size. The operating mode offers NO (Normally Open) / NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
