Lenze SF420 is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter designed for precise control of motor speed and frequency. It features dimensions of H146mm x W73mm x D146mm and can operate with a supply voltage of either 400Vac or 480Vac, delivering a rated current of 3.9A at 400Vac and 3.4A at 460Vac. This unit is suitable for cabinet or DIN rail mounting and operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +50 °C, with a derating of 2.5% per °C above +50°C. It supports RS-485 communication protocol and accommodates a network frequency of 48-62 Hz on input and 0-240 Hz on output. The SF420 includes 2 digital outputs (open-collector outputs; 50mA at 30Vdc) for terminals TB-14 and TB-15, and is compatible with a 3-phase network. It also features 1 analog input (0-10Vdc) at terminal TB5, 1 analog input (4-20mA) at terminal TB25, and 2 analog outputs (0-10Vdc or 2Vdc-10Vdc and 0-10Vdc or 2-10Vdc) at terminals TB-30 and TB-31, respectively, which are proportional to output frequency or load. The rated active power is 1.5kW for a supply voltage of 400-480Vac, with a corresponding rated power of 2HP for the same voltage range.
