SLPP14-690 Description
Banner Engineering SLPP14-690, part of the LP Low-Profile series, is a safety light curtain designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. This unit, featuring an emitter and receiver pair, is housed in aluminum with acrylic lens and zinc end caps. It offers a protective height of 690mm and operates with a 24Vdc supply voltage. The SLPP14-690 operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and is rated IP65 for protection against dust and water ingress. Its dimensions are 28mm in width, 689mm in height, and 26mm in depth, with a yellow housing color. The safety light curtain provides a sensing distance from 10cm to 7m and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 850 nm. It includes two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs), one digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for fault indication, and two digital inputs (10Vdc-30Vdc; 30mA for EDM input and 10Vdc-30Vdc for RESET input). The response time is recorded at 19.5ms. The connection type is an Integral Removable Disconnect (RD), facilitating easy installation and maintenance.
