SLLCE40-630P8 Banner Safety Light Curtains

Banner Engineering SLLCE40-630P8 is a safety light curtain from the LS series type 4 safety light curtains, designed to be cascadable. This part, functioning as an emitter alone, is constructed with an aluminium housing, acrylic lens, and zinc end caps. It features a pre-wired connection with a 300mm pigtail terminated with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The protective height is 630mm, and the housing is colored yellow. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C. The SLLCE40-630P8 offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and IP67, with dimensions including a net width of 36mm, a net height of 634mm, and a net depth of 45mm. The light curtain has a 40mm beam spacing/pitch and offers sensing distances from 10cm to 12m. It emits infrared light with a wavelength of 850 nm and has a resolution for arm detection at 40mm. The digital outputs consist of 2 x 24Vdc, 500mA sourcing redundant OSSD solid-state outputs, and 1 x 24Vdc sourcing/PNP transistor output for emitter fault indication, with a response time of 8.6ms. Additionally, it includes 1 x digital input for EDM and 1 x digital input for scan code, both accepting 10Vdc-30Vdc at 30mA.
